So here we are in November! As I look outside the studio windows I can see people walking past wrapped up in their winter coats, the sky is a slate grey and I feel like hiding back under the duvet. However I have these photographs from the wonderful Thailand wedding at the Four Seasons to look at and brighten my week.
We photographed Ali & Carol’s London Civil wedding back in 2015 and we were blown away when they asked if we’d come out to Koh Samui to photograph their celebration. Along with their friends and family we had the trip of a lifetime touring around Thailand (more of the at to come).
The day itself was perfect in everyway. Ali & Carol are two of the nicest (and coolest) people we’ve had the pleasure to spend time with. Photographing their wedding was a highlight of our career and also humbling to be a part of – we’re forever grateful!
The day started out looking out over the picture perfect view from the spectacular entrance to the Four Seasons Resort. We then made our way, by buggy, down to Carol & Ali’s Apartment complete with infinity pool and yet another spectacular view. The wedding itself took place in the intimacy of the beach cove flanked by a beautiful greenery arch.
As the sun set the reception began under a full moon and a canopy of lights. The food was incredible and the speeches heartfelt – Ali’s Sister Jocelyn’s left me in tears.
We have been so lucky to spend time with Ali & Carol over the last two years – I’m looking forward to our next pizza date!!
